The Washington High School lady warriors are in the state playoffs this weekend. This has been Jace’s first year to coach basketball and it has been a lot of fun to be around the high school kids. We had the boys team over for dinner a couple of weeks ago and dinner was proceeded with an all out war after dark with all of Jaxens marshmallow guns, nerf guns, and balls. When I put Jax to bed that night he said, “mom this was the best night of my life!” Last night we had the girls team over for dinner and all the girls played princesses and barbies and let Haven boss them around. It was pretty fun. I am so thankful that these kids love on my children all the time. They are the best group of kids- so fun to be around and also love the Lord. Last night as we were making dinner and we were just about to finish up when they all grabbed hands and prayed over us and our meal. They are HIGH SCHOOL KIDS! I am so thankful for Washington and the role it plays in our lives.

This man is amazing. He and his sweet wife Pam, have been such an inspiration to Jace and I. They are truly some of the best people that we know. I am so thankful that he is the principal of my sons school. It is rare to find such truly genuine people who completely love the Lord. He is also an AWESOME basketball coach and has taken Washington to the state playoffs for the last ten years in a row.
