Okay, so I might have staged this one a bit because I took her to a field but I wasnt doing it for my 30 days of absurdity book until it ended up being an absurd afternoon. I have wanted to take her “to twirl” since she suggested it a couple of weeks ago. I picked her up from school and had her pink boa, princess dress, high heels, magic wand and tiara sitting in her car seat. I told her I had a surprise for her and told her we were going to a field just “to twirl.” I was thinking this might get me mom of the year award in her book when she told me I brought the wrong princess dress. “I dont like that princess anymore because it scratches me. I cant twirl.” were her exact words. This was the only image that doesnt have her blatantly crying. Her hair is actually covering her crying face. Congratulations….. I now introduce you to myself, mom of the year.
