Yeah, the day totally came. He got to invite friends to his birthday. He was completely stoked. (Jace thinks when I use the word stoked I sound like a surfer from California but I like it ) Anyway, we decided to go snow tubing with his friends and we had so much fun. Jace, me, brother in law Jeff, and best friend Sandi all volunteered to help herd the crowd. We were kind of disappointed because it was ridiculously crowded but the boys + Lainey didnt know the difference.

This girl? LAINEY, ROCKS! She is my favorite little girl “friend” of Jaxens, mainly because we have secretly married the two in our minds and her parents are two of our best friends. Anyway, she was the ONLY girl. Jax was torn because he likes her so much but he knew she would be the only girl. His heart won out and he decided to invite her anyway. She totally wanted to come but not to snowtube, just to hang out with me. Me? (seriously mother in law stuff is going thru my mind right now) Anyway, she stood with me and my trusty camera to take pics of everyone coming down. She has gone snow tubing before and was a little too (WAY TOO) nervous to do it again. I asked her about 50 times if she was sure she didnt want to do it and man she was SURE. After she sat with me and watched all 9 boys come down she said, ” Ms.Holli I can do it!” Its like a light went on in her eyes and she was proving to be just as tough as the boys. I was so proud of her when she came down the mountain, proud just like her mother in law….. 

Anyway, so we snowtubed for an hour and a half and then went to Starbucks for hot chocolate and cupcakes. It was a GREAT birthday.
