TJ + Allison { the Greens Country Club }

TJ and Allison have a remarkable story. TJ wrote on his blog, “Five years ago today, I stood up out of my wheel chair, leaning against my cane, to ring a simple, golden bell that was symbolic of beating cancer.” I love this sentence. His life is a testimony to many patients struggling to know if they will make it to their wedding day. There were many tears and many happy moments on their wedding day. We were honored to be a part of it!
You can read TJ’s post on being cancer free for 5 years HERE.

I also loved this from his blog “No matter how smart you get, no matter how many times you travel the world, no matter how many great people you think you know, you can always learn more, you can always experience more, you can always connect and love more.”

Another interesting note about TJ and Allisons wedding was that we were supposed to have the worst tornadoes in the history of Oklahoma. The way the news and radio were talking it was going to devastate the state of Oklahoma. They were telling people not to travel or leave their homes so they could be close to a shelter at all times. I can promise you, brides are NOT thinking of tornadoes when they are planning their wedding! Allison had the best attitude all day about the weather forecast. Honestly, we were even a bit nervous about leaving our families to shoot this wedding. We were so grateful that we had some sunshine early in the day to be able to give them beautiful wedding photos even in the face of tornadoes!

Allison and TJ, it is a sincere joy to know you.
