Leslie is a sweet friend of mine who also happens to be the owner of Leslie Herring Events here in Oklahoma City. She was a bridesmaid in a wedding we photographed 3-4 years ago while she was working under a planner in Houston and then she came back to Norman and became a planner here. We shared an office together for over a year, have worked tons of weddings together, and shared many laughs, tears and stories along the way. I am SO excited that she has found the man of her dreams! Beau is such a kind man who will take such good care of her! I have loved getting to know him as well.
We all know the saying, “when it rains, it pours”… this was entirely true in Leslie and Beau’s case. Not only did it rain… it completely poured most of the day. It was also super windy and cold. It didnt stop us from having a great time and celebrating with Beau and Leslie! I own 20 clear umbrellas and can bring them to weddings that have a chance of rain. I think they photograph really pretty but you have to have a bride and wedding party that think it is a good idea to go out in the rain and chance their hair losing its curl or getting the bottoms of their dresses wet. IT IS TOTALLY WORTH IT! SINCE Leslie is a planner who wanted great photos and she had an awesome wedding party they were all totally down for still doing photos outside in the pouring down rain. Luckily the Gaylord Pickens had a few places that they could stand under something and not get very wet- while we stood in the rain ;) It was totally worth it and I am so happy with the photos despite the awful weather! Rain brings good luck, right?!
If you are looking for a wedding planner Leslie Herring Events is an incredible team of women. They are super talented, really fun, and very hard working. We recommend them 100%.
