It is that time of year again when the HolliB staff gets a little break! The months of December to the first of March is what we like to refer as down season for weddings and it is when we get to spend more of our time in our pjs with our families or doing fun crafty things with our friends! We LOVE weddings but it is always nice to welcome this time as most of the year stays pretty busy! When the spring comes we have a new and refreshed spirit and welcome the new wedding season!

I want to throw it out there that we, as a team, are no longer photographing families of any kind. I havent photographed families for 3-4 years now but Taylor has been in charge of the portrait side of our business and she has decided to limit her time away from her family and focus on shooting a handful of weddings per year. It was a hard decision for us to decide to completely specialize in wedding photography but we believe it will benefit our families and our clients in the end! Having only 20-25 wedding clients per year and giving them fantastic service is our number one goal. This also only takes us away from our families for 20-25 days a year which is very important to us! We will continue to shoot a handful of births and newborns every year but we will primarily be booking and photographing weddings from here on out!

I (holli) only have 2 wedding spots available for next year so if you are thinking about getting married in the year 2013 get on booking your photographer!! Taylor and Sarah only have a few dates open as well- they will book fast! For some reason brides have REALLY been on the ball in booking in advance- which we appreciate!

This is the time of year we shoot a lot of newborns! If you are interested in booking your newborn session with us for the months of December thru March we would love to hear from you! We photograph all newborns in our studio in Norman and love getting to snuggle with your sweet little babies! Sarah will be delivering her sweet baby the end of January and we are SO SO excited to meet him!
