Its Wedding Wednesday! (and I realize I have missed it for a few weeks) My awesome intern Jordan has been trying to get all our weddings blogged from the past year. Its a daunting task :)

Adam and Kenna were married in Stillwater on one of the hottest days of July. There are so many things you get to see when you photograph weddings for a living (and not just the cha cha slide over and over and over :) As wedding photographers, we become responders of moments. Even when I am not photographing a wedding, I still see them everywhere. Moments…. good ones, bad ones, and my favorite of all REAL ones.

This past weekend I had two weddings and one of which I was not allowed into the ceremony. I cannot tell you how sad this makes me. My FAVORITE image from just about every single wedding is the grooms face when the bride walks down the aisle. There is so much emotion wrapped up in a wedding day that it can sometimes get crazy, but time stops when the bride walks down the aisle. Sweet Adam could barely contain his emotion when he saw his bride. I have a folder of images of grooms faces from various weddings to show my daughter one day. It is my prayer that when she walks down the aisle her future husband cannot contain his reaction as well.
