Funny story… the maid of honor accidentally left the wedding rings in the dressing room. Crazily enough she got our attention DURING the ceremony and my assistant, Courtney, and Kathleen, of Gibson Events, searched the dressing room going thru every purse and found the rings. They then very gracefully got the ring to the maid of honor and everything was great. The below picture is of the maid of honor telling Kaydee, the bride, that she forgot the rings…. Her face makes me laugh, she was so worried!

just for fun…. i added a few outtakes…. kaydee and andrew, thanks for being fun ;)

Evan {Birth}

Taylor Tuesday… a little late afternoon blogging.

Right before Christmas, I had the privilege of photographing the birth of this little man. Although his birth ended in a c-section, the wonderful staff at Lakeside Woman’s Center allowed the photographer (ME) to come into the operating room to capture the action. The doctors, nurses and staff were so accommodating. We try to stay out of everyone’s way ALL of the time, but especially during births and even more so during surgery. We are rarely allowed into the operating room for c-sections, so we want to respect the parents, doctors and nurses. I just cannot say enough kind things about the staff at Lakeside, they were so nice and let me photograph from almost anywhere in the room. They were not only professional, but friendly. If you are looking for a doctor and or hospital, I would highly recommend using Lakeside, especially if you are having your birth photographed, which you should :)

Anywho, enough of my brag session… let’s see some pictures!

Jodi and Bill, you guys were so fun! Thanks for letting me share this sweet day with your family. Congratulations, Evan is perfect!

Next week, I’ll post some of Evan’s newborn pictures.
