Holli B. Photography bio picture

We are glad you are here!

We are professional photographers based out of Norman, Oklahoma. We are so blessed to travel all over the world photographing such cool clients for a living. Our blog has grown into a fun mix of our professional AND personal work. So at times it might seem chaotic but its our real lives folks... lovely, creative, crazy, fun, busy, hilarious.... REAL.  Its all over the place to be quite honest. But we arent just one of these things (photographers, parents, friends, etc. ) we are all of these things and to only show pretty pictures of our cool clients would be leaving you out of who we are and what we love. Come back soon!

Have a great day!

Trent + Marcy {WEDDING}

My sister in law Marcy got married in December at the Oklahoma Farmers Market. It was fun to be on the opposite end of wedding planning again in helping her plan different aspects of the wedding. Super big thanks to Taylor and Sarah for shooting the wedding for me. At some point there were three of us shooting so it might be the most over photographed wedding we have done to date… but they did awesome.
Venue: Oklahoma Farmers Market

wedding day prep…

Haven was persistent in “needing” a flower like aunt Marcys so Marcy broke a flower off of her bouquet to give her… we love our aunt Marcy…

Trent waiting for his bride…

this one below is my favorite that I took of them together

Not a big fan of editing pics with myself in them… just sayin…. but here is the wedding party. They were awesome going outside for as long as we did because it was FREEZING…

not going to lie… my kids were pretty cute….

and so were my in laws….

Marcy wanted her ceremony to be different so she had all of the chairs lined around them so it was a circle instead of bride and groom at the front with all guests behind them.

Trent was a bit (or a lot) emotional and it was the sweest thing!!
love this of Marcy and my father in law
you can see Haven running back and forth from me to Jace during the ceremony. She was a mess!

Reception fun….

did I say that Haven was a mess?
did I say that Marcy was breath taking?
AmyCakes did Marcys cakes and they looked awesome… (and tasted awesome- we took the leftovers home with us and ate them for the next couple of days!)

i really like this picture….

The Groove Merchants are hands down my favorite band at a wedding. They are (as always) AWESOME…

bride and groom…
my mom came and helped out getting the kids ready and such while I was a bridesmaid/photographer. Thanks mom! I love this pic!
between my parents (above) and my in laws (below) we could not photograph weddings on Saturdays so if you are one of our brides you can thank these people…. jk

looks like my Jax (our son) had a long night….

The final send off…
We love you guys!!

February 4, 2010 - 10:51 am Tambra - Thank you Holli's parents and in-laws!!!!!! The ones of the bride and groom in the hallway alone - amazing!

February 4, 2010 - 11:36 am Amy - LOVE these...

February 4, 2010 - 1:49 pm Annie S - E X T A O R D I N A R Y !!!

February 7, 2010 - 3:55 pm McKenzie - Ok I could comment on almost every single picture, but I don't wanna be that girl so LOVELY as usual! I love the ones of them on the stairs and when they met and anytime Trent's kissing her shoulder/neck. Just so precious! Also in the ones in front of the venue, are your shoes behind them? Because I noticed and laughed because it's one of the reasons I LOVE you so stinkin' much!

LOST is starting this week!!!!

February 1, 2010 - 1:54 pm Annie S - THIS IS AWESOME!!!! So pumped for LOST!

its a LOVE contest!

Ive said it once (or a million times) and I will say it again…. my clients are SO SO SO awesome…. and here is just another reason why. I have this client who I did a shoot for almost two years ago and she is donating a session. Completely donating it. Here are a few words from her email,
“through the Christmas season I really wanted
to find someone or something to send an extra gift to, but the weeks
moved so quickly and my good intentions never really came to fruition.
Then this morning I was reading your blog (total blog stalker here),
and I just felt inspired to give someone the gift of special and
beautiful family pictures or maybe a contribution towards someone’s
wedding packet. When we got married we couldn’t afford a
wedding let alone pictures so our couple pictures you did last year were extra
special and I would love to pass the blessing on.”
HOW AWESOME IS THAT?
So I was chatting with her about how to give it away and we thought it would be fun to do a contest. Here is the scoop… it doesnt matter who or what you are, you just have to love them (in love with your newborn baby, your spouse, your future spouse, your pet, even your best friend, ANYONE!) then send us an email to info@hollibphotography.com and a short story of why you or someone you know deserves a free photo shoot from us. It can be for a photo shoot of any kind…. couple, family, child, pet, birth, maternity, newborn, senior, engagement or bridal. It can be funny, creative, serious or sentimental or however you like! Deadline is February 11th – Taylor, Sarah and I will judge them and the winner will be announced on the blog on Valentines Day! Feel free to spread the word because anyone can win! woop woop!

January 29, 2010 - 11:04 pm Laurel Hanson - THis is a GREAT IDEA! I love it.

January 30, 2010 - 11:44 am Stacie - Ooh, I have the PERFECT family to submit!! Can't wait!

January 30, 2010 - 11:45 am Stacie - Not my family, BTW...one of my best friends!
