A Pinterest Recipe Success

Taylor Tuesday….

Today, instead of posting an engagement session or a beautiful bride and groom, I am changing directions and giving my personal review on a recent pinterest recipe I tried. Well, let’s be honest, Holli tried it first and then told me how delicious it was, so I decided I would give it a whirl. Sometimes I need a real person to tell me a recipe worked instead of a comment on a pin that who knows who wrote.

I don’t know if anyone else out there is like me, but I am always looking for new, simple and quick recipes to try and add to my family’s dinner menu that currently consists of about 8 things (one of which might be mac and cheese). So when Holli assured me I could do this, I decided to give it a try.

And we liked it. Even David said it was good and I could make it again. Isn’t that the true test anyway? Even if I love something, if David doesnt love it, then the chances of me making it again are very slim. Overall the recipe was simple to follow, had minimal prep work and only like 10 ingredients. It was a good change of pace from my normal casserole, soup or taco rotation.

The chicken was surprisingly tender and juicy. The sauce was light and slightly creamy. The tomatoes and basil made it all taste really fresh. I had the leftovers a couple days later and I was shocked at how good those tasted too.

I’ve included the link if you want to give it a try, which I would highly recommend.

Do you have any wonderful recipes that you would like to share? Preferably simple and I wouldn’t mind a corckpot either :) If so, we would love to hear about it.
