Taylor Tuesday, blogging a beautiful fall wedding today…

Carol and John met at their high school reunion, held in Boston a few years ago. They both attended the same US high school in Germany, while their parents were serving in the army. Since there was a couple of years difference in their ages, they never actually went to school together. But every year their school hosts a reunion in the northeast, so they met for the first time there. The story is crazy and as they were recounting all the details for me, I couldn’t believe how perfectly they had been brought together. I am sure a few of my details are incorrect, but the point is, they fell in love and Carol was able to have the wedding that she had always dreamed of.

They were married on the the coldest day of October! They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony planned in the courtyard of the NCED, but when the weather turned to a brisk 36 degrees, Carol decided she wouldn’t make her guests sit through a freezing cold ceremony! Instead they had a beautiful ceremony inside. It was so fun being able to photograph Carol and John’s wedding day. Carol looked absolutely stunning and loved her beautiful white bridal gown. She designed the “sheer wrap” that went around her shoulders herself. It was such a great day and both John and Carol were so happy. They celebrated with a dinner reception followed by a night full of dancing. These two were such a wonderful couple and I am sure that their guests had a wonderful time.
