SO my future sister in law Lindsey (also my guinea pig for funky photo shoots, baby sitter, assistant, who happens to be a petroleum engineer) were at Goodwill the other night looking for old furniture that we could redo for her new house. While we were hoping to find an old rustic metal bed frame or something similarly cool- we stumbled upon this….

So, its not everyday that you find a sweet wedding dress at the Goodwill for $120 so I made her try it on and it just so happens to fit…. and fit PERFECTLY. Isnt it fabulous? It has around 400 pearls on the front and back square neckline and there is ONE pearl missing. So the sales lady who was walking by saw that she had a wedding dress on and told us that the yellow colored tags just happened to be half off today only, so we were sold. I was going to buy a wedding dress at the Goodwill for $60 bucks. But wait it gets better…. as she was leaving she casually mentioned that on Sundays the owner picks a color and everything that color is one dollar. ONE DOLLAR. So, we knew we couldnt spend $60 on a wedding dress at Goodwill when there was a 1 in 5 chance it would be one dollar the next day. We decided to take our chances and call back tomorrow. I actually kind of forgot about it but Lindsey calls me at 12:15 (it opened at 12) and told me she had just bought a wedding dress for one dollar. Even better…. as she was checking out she asked the clerk if EVERYTHING that was yellow tagged was one dollar and he said yes, after he rung her up for ONE DOLLAR the lady behind him was checking out at another register and her clerk told her that everything under $50 was one dollar, so LIndsey grabbed the dress that she just paid one dollar for and ran out the door. I told her I would give her $100 to actually wear the dress for her wedding. I mean it is adorable and what bride can say she paid ONE dollar for her wedding dress?
